Carambis Software Updater is not only lightweight, but also fast. On my system it took only a few seconds to scan for installed applications and display a webpage that lists the available updates. This list displays every application from your system that needs to be updated, the installed version, the latest version, and the size of the download. Automatic scanning at scheduled times is also possible.
Its speed and simplicity are the only things that I truly like about this tool. Unfortunately, these two things weren’t enough to convince me to recommend this tool with all my heart, especially since there are also other programs that check for applications' updates and offer a lot more features, functions and related information than the Carambis Software Updater.
